We have been busy setting up new indoor production for gourmet salad mixes. Our new system will greatly increase our capacity as well as provide a higher quality product that we will harvest every week all year long. It's very exciting to see all the happy seedlings transplanted today for harvest in November.
We are having a great season at the Tumwater, and Tenino farmer's markets. We will have an abundance of pea shoots, sunflower shoots, radish microgreens, and fenugreek microgreens this week so come on down for some delicious and healthy greens. If you are too far away to make it to one of our markets be sure to support your local farmers.
It's been a great start to the season at both the Tumwater, and Tenino farmer's markets. I always enjoy meeting people and sharing the food I grow. Our salad greens are coming in well and we will soon have our main season crops available. The demand for pea and sunflower shoots has prompted us to increase production to ensure that we have a sufficient supply. If you can't make it to one of our markets you can find our microgreens at Jeremy's Farm to Table in Chehalis.
